UAF Legacy Health

Through education and other services, the Utah AIDS Foundation helps to prevent HIV infection and empowers people living in the Intermountain region who are affected by or living with HIV/AIDS to live healthier and more fulfilling lives.

Work with: People affected by or living with HIV/AIDS
Services for survivors during incarceration include: Information and referrals; personal advocacy; and assistance with accessing HIV/AIDS-related services via phone or by mail.
Services for survivors after release include: All of the above, as well as HIV/STI testing and prevention; case management; food and transportation assistance; meal delivery; HIV+ support groups; benefits advocacy; financial assistance; and the online Resource Center directory, which lists HIV-related books, magazines, and journal articles, as well as web links to local and national HIV resources for newly diagnosed people with HIV and people living with AIDS.
Services for loved ones include: HIV/STI testing, prevention services, support, information, and referrals.

Additional Information: El Centro de Recursos de la Fundación del SIDA en Utah posee una biblioteca virtual y una biblioteca actual ubicadas en las oficinas de la fundación. Mediante ellas se pueden acceder fácilmente a libros, revistas y artículos científicos sobre el Virus de Inmunodeficiencia Humana, tanto como a páginas de red que contienen información para personas recién diagnosticadas con VIH y personas que vivan con el virus.
