Please join us for a three-part series of virtual events focused on the state of the movement to end sexual abuse in detention. You’ll hear from formerly incarcerated survivors and other human rights activists as we take you to the front lines of the fight for safety and dignity behind bars. We’ll also discuss how our advocacy is shaped by the broader struggles for racial justice, immigrants’ rights, and abolition.

Shut Them Down: Fighting the Immigration Detention Crisis
During this event, we’ll focus on how to end the crisis of sexual abuse in immigration detention facilities, especially in our current anti-immigrant political climate. Joined by leading advocates and a survivor of sexual abuse in immigration detention, we will discuss how to support people held in such facilities and explore strategies to stop this violence from happening in the first place.
