Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance (VSDVAA)

The Virginia Sexual & Domestic Violence Action Alliance (VSDVAA) is a non-profit agency dedicated to raising awareness about sexual and domestic violence, increasing public access to resources and services, offering opportunities for professional development, and initiating legislative and policy change that will bring Virginia closer to our vision: a world where relationships between people are respectful, healthy, and safe.

Work with: Survivors of sexual assault and their family and friends; sexual assault programs; allied professional groups; and the general public
Services for survivors during incarceration include: Crisis intervention; support; information; referrals to community resources via the Virginia Family Violence and Sexual Assault Hotline or by mail; and a directory of affiliated rape crisis centers on the VSDVAA website.

Additional Information: In an effort to make the Hotline accessible to a wide array of callers, VSDVAA employs bilingual (English/Spanish) staff and contracts with Language Lines to provide language interpretation for over 140 different languages. Se habla espaƱol.
