Safe Harbor

Safe Harbor is a non-profit agency providing comprehensive services to men, women and children who have experienced domestic violence or sexual assault/abuse. We are able to offer advocacy and counseling to incarcerated people who have been the victim of sexual abuse, assault or harassment in all of Sheboygan County’s facilities. You do not have to report the abuse to staff at the facility where you are being detained or incarcerated to receive support from us via phone or mail. However, all in-person visits must be coordinated through the PREA Victim Service Coordinator or other facility official, which will require that you disclose the abuse for investigation. Please note that any written correspondence may be opened and monitored by the facility where you are being detained or incarcerated. If you are calling our crisis line from KMCI you do not need to use your pin, the call will not be monitored or recorded and you do not need funds in your account to make the call. All Safe Harbor services are free and confidential.
