Turning Point

Turning Point is a non-profit organization offering comprehensive services to survivors of sexual assault in Macomb County and is committed to providing services to survivors of sexual violence who are or have served time. Turning Point offers the following services: 24-hour crisis hotline, crisis intervention, hospital and court advocacy, domestic and sexual violence counseling, case management services, forensic nurse examinations, support groups, and information and referrals for survivors of sexual assault. Survivors who are still serving time can contact the 24-hour hotline. If a survivor contacts the hotline within 120 hours of a sexual assault, a staff advocate and nurse examiner can respond to the call and complete the forensic exam at the correctional facility, while offering crisis intervention and support. All services are free and confidential.
